Gilliam Albert Shadrick Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gilliam Albert Shadrick of Jasper, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gilliam farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gilliam is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Shadrick and Annie Pearl Cash Shadrick; his son Lamar Shadrick; and his brother Elmer Shadrick, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Amber Dyer Shadrick; his children, Martricia Rollins (Roger), Della Smith, Roxanne Picket (Ronnie) and Joseph Kilgore (September); and his siblings, Joseph Shadrick (Else) and Savannah Jacobus. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 15, great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens (3076 Main St, Jasper, TN 37347).
