He is survived by: his children, Jason Kintner (Cassandra), Jennifer Hook (Jason) and Jacqueline Griffith; his brother Dorvin Kintner (Peggy); and his grandchildren, Jacob Kintner, Megan McMahon (William), James Kintner III, Michael Griffith, Gabriel Chacon, Anastasia Chacon, Madeline Javalera (Edgar) and Caleb Hook. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center (6936 TN-28, Dunlap, TN 37327). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
