He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Turney (Dawson); his grandchildren, Kayley and Seth Turney; his daughter-in-law Paula Turney; his grandchildren, Melvin, Frances Dawson, Royce Dawson, Phillip and Danette Dawson; his sibling's children, Shereen Stewart (Blane) and Bob Hill (Lisa); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aspen Raines (Justin) and James Ed Hill.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home (21 E 5th St, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
