It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Sissy Dobson of Jasper, Tennessee, who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Dobson; her parents, Alvin Mashburn and Estelle Mashburn; and her daughter Amelia Dobson Parker (Amy). She is survived by: her children, Abbygail Shields (Travis) and Joshua Dobson (Madison); her grandchildren, Meghan Cooper (James), Andrew Parker (Felicia), Luke Dobson, Emma Dobson, Blake Dobson and Boone Shields; her great grandchildren, Ella Cooper, Jack Cooper, Hannah Cooper, Lily Parker and Ian Parker; and her siblings, James Henry Mashburn (Doris), Alvin Mashburn (Sherrie), Robert Mashburn, Marcia Kay (Bobby) and Carl Mashburn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home, Jasper Chapel (21 E 5th St, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Lafayette Memory Garden Cemetery (3658 N Hwy 27, LaFayette, GA 30728).
