He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack D. "Weazel" Quarles and Hazel C. Quarles; his brother Joe Larry Goforth; his sister-in-law Betty T. Quarles; and his nephew Jason Quarles.
He is survived by: his wife Margie "Herlene" Quarles; his sons, Robert "Wayne" Quarles and Charles "David" Quarles (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Landen, Taylor, Trent, Addy and Kyle Quarles; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Kaylie, Tessa, Oakley and Ty Quarles; his siblings, Benny Don Quarles and Faye Hankins; and his friend Crystal Roberts Nugent.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to Avalon Hospice, 2090 Cowan Highway, Winchester, TN 37398 or Brainerd Hills Baptist Church, 6611 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421 in memory of Robert D. "Bobby" Quarles.
