She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Russell Smith and Martha Norine Murray McCall; and her brother Brian Keith Smith. She is survived by : her husband Buddy Freeman; her children, Zachary Taylor Merritt, Cindy Cooksey (Clinton), Kathryn Teresa Jarrett (Jonathan), Ashley Nicole Chapa (Robie) and Michele Waldrop (Freddy); her grandchildren, Savannah Cooksey, Carrie Hutchins, Kylie Hutchinson, Stephen Cooksey, Bret Waldrop, Walker Hutchinson and Justin Wilson; and her great grandchild Hagen Waldrop.
