He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Dobson and Georgia Dobson; and his daughter Amelia Dobson Parker (Amy). He is survived by: his wife Louise Dobson (Sissy); his children, Abbygail Shields (Travis) and Joshua Dobson (Madison); his grandchildren, Meghan Cooper (James), Andrew Parker (Felicia), Luke Dobson, Emma Dobson, Blake Dobson and Boone Shields; his great grandchildren, Ella Cooper, Jack Cooper, Hannah Cooper, Lily Parker and Ian Parker; and his sisters, Sandra Ramage and Gail Walker (Randall). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home, Jasper Chapel (21 E 5th St, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lafayette Memory Garden Cemetery (27 North Dr, LaFayette, GA 30728).
