With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel E. Berney of Jefferson City, Tennessee, who passed away on December 19, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Berney and Mickey Berney; and his siblings, Steve Berney, Melissa and Sarah Berney.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Berney; his daughters, Allison Herron (Mike), Karen Loveday (Kyle) and Kim Curl; his grandchildren, Craig McGhee (Christia), Stephen Skeen (Megan), Chase McGhee (Kenzie), Caitlyn Loveday, Sydney Curl and Valerie Curl; his great grandchildren, Cambree and Cayne; his brother Pat Berney (Barbara); and his caregivers, Kelly Murphy and Carolyn Soward.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City or Second Harvest Food Bank.
