He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Roy" Horner and Hannah Horner; and his siblings, Stanley, Mack, DeWitt, J. W., James, William Roy Jr., Thomas Dewey, Maggie Gilliam, Ann Mills, Edna Bennett and Rosa Kinder.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Horner; his children, Dena Rueff, Lorie Horner (Jamie) and Will Horner (Paige); his grandchildren, Morgan, Sydney (Brett), Trent, Addison, Tenley and Warren; his great grandchildren, Zoey, Zaylyn and Scarlett; and his brother Ray Horner of Morristown Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Okolona Little League in honor of Mr. Horner.
