He was predeceased by: his parents, James Zirkle and Anna Lee "Pat" Zirkle; and his daughter Anne Kathren. He is survived by: his wife Eva; his daughter Sarah Reuning; his son-in-law John Reuning; his grandson Walt Reuning; and his brother James "Jim" Zirkle. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
