She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Cooper and Vonna Katherine Boyd Gentry; her stepfather Boitnott B. Gentry; her sister Creta Faye Cooper; and her nephew Michael Louis Akin.
She is survived by: her son Sammy George; her daughter-in-law Donna Duncan, Jr. of Long Island; and her granddaughters, Ruth Marie Duncan and Georgia Katherine Duncan.
