Lawrence touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his son Randall Allen Bitz; his stepdaughter Sharon Clayton; and his parents, Edward Bitz and Loretta Bitz. He is survived by: his wife Linda Bitz; his children, Deena Powers and Roger Bitz; his stepchildren, Scott Clayton (Laura), Greg Clayton (Wendy) and Tara Clayton; his siblings, Francis Bitz (Carolyn), Ronnie Bitz (Sharon) and Nancy Angerer (Randy); and his sister-in-law Shirley Bitz. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37914).
