He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy and Ralph Sharp Sr.; his daughter Lisa Johnson; his great grandchild Noah Massengill; his sisters, Sue Payne and Ann Ogle; his sons-in-law, Willie Massengill and Dale Johnson; and his former wife Janice Green.

He is survived by: his children, Angie Masengill, Ralph L. Sharp III and April Sharp; his grandchildren, Tiffany Sharp, Paige Hasse, Hadley Sharp, Storm Sharp (Lakota), Dusty Johnson, Brittany Massengill, Ashley Horton (Lane), Keeshia (Massengill), Logan Massengill and Dionnica Kinsler; his siblings, Joyce Dalton, Sally Humbard and Harold Sharp; and his close friend Stephanie Kerr.
