She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Eldridge and Nova Elizabeth Wice Eldridge; her husband John A. McGovern; her brothers, Ruble Eldridge and Garnett Eldridge; and her stepson John McGovern.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Stansberry (Ed) and Kenny Deering; her grandchildren, Christina Deering, Jennifer Wice (Andrew) and Jason Deering (Anna); her sister Billie Strange; and her stepdaughter Mary Cockes (Doug). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
