It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Mathis of Joelton, Tennessee, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Scruggs and Jewel Scruggs; and her son Gary Dale Hamilton. She is survived by : her husband Dallas Mathis; her daughter Tammy Setser; her sister Lucy Phillips; and her granddaughters, Tanya Hamilton and Rebecca Johnson. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
