He is survived by: his wife Ricki Midgett; his children, Ernie Midgett Jr. (Shanna) and Jennifer Midgett Blankenship; his brothers, Tim Midgett (Gerry) and Lance Hornbuckle (Julie); his nephews, Shane, Bo, Caleb, Jesse and Baron; his brother-in-law Dave Martin (Julee); and his grandchildren, Cole and Ella.
