He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Buford and Lula Knight; and his aunts and uncles, Myra Whitaker (Charles), Patricia Buckingham, Bobby Knight and Robert Buckingham.
He is survived by: his parents, Dorothy Graves and John Brummitt; his stepmother Gail Brummitt; and his sister Tausha Brummitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
