He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Runnels and Virginia Ruth Runnels. He is survived by: his wife Maria Runnels (Prado); his sons, Robert (Christie) and Chris (Tami); his grandchildren, Allison Runnels, Bailey Rediker (Caleb), Caitlyn Runnels, Courtney Elliott, Kerra Bell, Kylie Pemberton, Kaylie Pemberton, Michaela Foster and Robert Runnels, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Brantley Runnels, Saylor Rae Ledman and Dawsyn Moulton; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Runnels (Jane). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
