He is survived by: his wife Sandra Spann (Seay); his daughter Shay Sims (Wesley); his stepson Tommy Welch; his siblings, Jim Spann, Charles Spann, Kenneth Spann (Debbie) and Susan Fitzgerald (Billy); his nephews, Keith Spann and Adam Spann (Gina); his niece Nickie Humphrey; his grandchildren, Mary Moreland (Michael), Trey Moreland, Keaghea Welch, Thomas Welch, Jr., Chris Spann and Jonathan Spann; his great grandchildren, Dylan Helser and AnnaLynn Helser; and his close friend Rocky.
