She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Gail Haney; her parents, Lucy Maude Gosnell Tweed and Carmen Tweed; her siblings, Martha Ruth Britt, Doyle Tweed and Sammy Tweed; and her daughter Sonya Michelle Haney.

She is survived by: her children, Julia Rosalee Ayers (Marty) and Eddie Glenn Haney (Barbie); her brother Roger Tweed (Joy); her grandchildren, Alexis Franklin, Dalton Haney, Tyler Wilhoit and Logan Ayers; her nieces, Carol Britt and Holly Huff; her nephew Allen Tweed; her cousin Judy Todd; her grandson Lindsay; her close friends, Wilma Johnson, Shirley Parker and Eula Necessary; Eli Rambo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Niswonger Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association in her honor.
