He is survived by: his wife Rovena Peters Bennett; his children, Randy Bennett, Bobby Bennett (Jennifer), Marcella Lewis, Rodney Bennett, Cindy Sweeney (David), Johnny Bennett and Jimmy Bennett; and his brothers, Worley "Jeter" Bennett (Josephine) and Aira Bennett. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
