Allene Gilbert Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allene Gilbert of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Syrom Alfred Love; her husband Clifford Gilbert; her children, Clifford Gregory Gilbert and Carla Love Cameron; and her siblings, Bud Alfred Love and Linda Ross.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Rachel Lambert (Travis) of Bluff City and Lauren Lightfoot (James) of Huntsville, AL; her great grandchildren, Ava Kate Lambert, Stella Lambert, Kaia Lightfoot and Gabby Lightfoot; and her sister Gerry (Bob) of Fairfax, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of Allene to: Unaka Avenue Baptist Church, 1213 E. Unaka Avenue, Johnson City, TN 37601 and/or Harvest Worship Center, 3750 US 421, Bristol, TN 37620.
