She is survived by: her husband Samuel Earl Hammer; her brother Harold Scalf of Watauga; her children, Belinda James and William "Bill" Hammer (Scarlet) of Johnson City; her grandchildren, Daphny Jones, Thomas Williams, Kristina Adams, Laura Ramsey, Isaac Hammer and John Ramsey; her great grandchildren, Carson Taylor, Kendyl Adams and Noah Ramsey; and her close friend Frances Soffiotto. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
