He was predeceased by: his daughter Virginia Ann Mettetal (Ginny). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jane Bingaman; his children, Susan Mettetal, JoAnn Edwards (Jody) and Robert; his grandchildren, Virginia Edwards (Ginny), Matthew, Christopher Mettetal and Sarah Mettetal Wheeler; and his great grandchild Addi Wheeler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church (2001 Cedar Grove Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
