He was predeceased by: his parents, John Moore and Violet Moore. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughter Michelle Buckles; his son-in-law Matt Buckles; his grandchildren, Gillian Paulsen, Lauren Paulsen and Alyssa Paulsen of Kingsport; and his niece Lisa Olson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mountain View UMC. A portion of these contributions will also be made to Holston Home for Children in Greeneville, TN.
