She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Gillespie and Vera Goines Gillespie; her husband Samuel David Redd; her child Kim J. Redd; and her brother Thurston Lavoid Gillespie.
She is survived by: her sister Bobbie Gillespie Scott; and her sister-in-law Shelby Redd. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Grace Temple Church (208 Garden Dr, Johnson City, TN 37604-4522). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
