He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Carl and Birdie Edwards Hamilton; his wife JoAnn Smith Hamilton; and his brother J. B. Edwards. He is survived by: his daughter Carla Winebarger (Paul Winebarger); his grandson Parker Hamilton Winebarger; and his nieces, Dana Plummer and Jamie Stout.
