Carolyn M. Whaley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn M. Whaley of Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on December 10, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Moses and Marzellia Carroll Moses; her husband Herman R. "Jerry" Whaley; her brother William C. Moses; her pet Kaleb; and her close friend William H. "Bill" Horn.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Whaley Nickles (Joe), Michael H. Whaley (Karen), Carole L. "Aunt Pooh" Whaley and Becky West; her grandchildren, Joshua W. Whaley, Danielle L. Whaley Coppock (Ben), Jacob A. Nickles (Stacy), Jonah G. Nickles (Ashley) and Jade E. Nickles Kuhbander (Jace); her great grandchildren, Bryanna, Jaxson Nickles, Isaiah, Levi Nickles, Carver Kuhbander and Grayson Scalf; and her caregivers, Betty Shepherd, Joyce Bennett, Ceresa Davis and Angela Ward. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
