He was predeceased by: his father James Cole. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Melton; his sons, Charles Pittman Cole Jr. and Matthew Melton Cole (Christa); his granddaughters, Elsie and Penny Cole; his brother William; his sisters-in-law, Pat Cole of Winter Park, FL and Margaret Collignon (James) of Brentwood, TN; his niece Lynn Cole; his nephew Jay Collignon (Kaitlin) of Brentwood, TN; his brother Dick Cole; and his caregiver Kim Carter.
