She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Bennett and Edna Bennett; her former husband Tom Stewart; her grandson David Justin Lee Story, Jr.; and her siblings, Tommy, Tracey, Lloyd and Brenda.
She is survived by: her children, Jessica Story, Britney Woodby (Joe Dunn) and Johnny Stewart; her grandchildren, Kandice Woodby, Madison Story, Dillon Woodby, Billy Woodby, Nolyn Story and Nathan Story; her close friend Steve Lyons; and her siblings, Willard Bennett, Nancy Bennett, Eugene "Green Bean" Bennett, Cindy Smith and Eric "Porky" Bennett. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:50 PM and at 3:00 PM at the Garland Cemetery (1988 Jonesborough Rd, Erwin, TN 37650).
