He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Downs and Mary Dolan Downs. He is survived by: his son Lincoln Chrisopher Guerra Downs; his siblings, Rosemary Carswell (Kent) of Little River, SC and Patrick T. Downs; his nephew Patrick T. Downs, Jr. (Memphis); and his niece Jessica P. Downs. He is also survived by several cousins, and many friends.
