He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Blankenship and Margaret South Blankenship; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Presnell, Alice Littleton, Bernice Ledford and Paul Blankenship.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mabel Blankenship Pennington (John) and James Blankenship; and his brother-in-law Russell Ledford. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces.
