It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Grant Turpin of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Radford, Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pamela Caudell Turpin; his grandchildren, Ashley, Greg, Collins LaFon of Bristol, TN, Lora, Eric, Roan and Milo Leininger of Greensboro, NC.; and his parents, Ruth Turpin and Thornton Turpin. He was also cherished by his wife and daughters, playing with his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made to youth and children's programs at First Baptist Church in his honor.
