He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Hurt and Louise Hurt (Wilson); his son Donald Wayne Hurt, II; his grandparents, John August, Antonya Hurt, Earnest and Pearl Wilson; his siblings, Robert Hurt and Patsy Hurt; his parents-in-law, Charles and Mae Bunton; and his brother-in-law Larry Bunton.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou (Bunton); his children, Margaret Charlene Hurt of Seiling, OK, Ed Hurt (Amber) of Piedmont, OK and Sharon Christine Howland (Brian) of Woodward, OK; his siblings, Norman Hurt of Seiling and Anita Donovan (Donny) of Midwest City, OK; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Woodfin and Charlie Bunton (Carla) of Johnson City, TN; his grandchildren, Corey Hurt, Devon Ashton (Tyler), Alana Laskowitz, Mia Watts (Derrik), Cooper Evans, Charlie Evans, Bailey Hurt and Preslee Hurt; and his great grandchildren, Paison Ashton, Naomi Ashton, Merritt Ashton, Daphne Laskowitz and Jensen Thiesing. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a lifetime of friends.
