She was predeceased by : her parents, John Anderson and Beatrice Chalfant Anderson; her pets, Oscar and Socks; her former life partner Raleigh H. Vicars, Sr. of Fall Branch; her son Jack Douglas Vicars of Gray; her son-in-law Thomas Edward Dotson of Kingsport; and her siblings, John C. (Bud), Hubert (Pete), Theodore E. (Ted), Jakie Mitchell Anderson (Jake), Dorothy Anderson Vaughn of Kingsport and Emily Anderson Vaughn of Kingsport.
She is survived by : her pet Macye; her children, Pearl K. Dotson of Kingsport, Raleigh H. Vicars, Jr. (Gwendolyn Moore) of Gray, Amanda Pauline Keach of Johnson City and Brenda K. Freeman (Clifford) of Jonesborough; her great grandchildren, Katy, Desira and Conley Freeman; and her grandchildren, Dr. Thomas K. Dotson, Rhonda Helton (Steve), Michelle Blevins (Randy), Christine Boyle (Brian), Melinda Kiser, Melissa Vicars, Sunny Keach, Jennifer Keach (Dave Scott), Doug Vicars (Samantha), Chris Vicars (Jennifer), Mike Freeman (Kim) and Tim Freeman (Treva). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends.
