Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Edna (Hamm) Smith of Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 79, on October 15, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie Hamm and Edna Hamm (Hughes); her husband Homer Smith; and her daughters, Diana Hatley and Karen Ricker King.
She is survived by: her son Richard Dugger of Johnson City; her grandchildren, Brandi Dugger-Aughey (Justin) of Florida, Amber Magalis (Lee) of Virginia, Lindsay Dugger (Aaron Redd) of Johnson City, TN, Dustin Hatley of North Carolina, Jeffery Ricker (Jami) of North Carolina and Misty Fields (Terrence) of Johnson City, Tennessee; and her sister Mary Lou Bryson of Johnson City, TN.. She is also survived by Several great grandchildren and one great great grandson as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:50 PM at the Final Resting Place Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
