He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fulton Watkins and Cynthia Allen Watkins; his wife Marilyn Elea Watkins; his son Daniel Durbin, Sr.; his son-in-law Alan Day; his siblings, Fannie Jane Lindsey (Ray Lindsey), Monroe Watkins (Joan Watkins) and Magnolia Hael Watkins (Houston Hael); and his sister-in-law Laura Watkins.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia Loper (Bo), Maudie Watkins, Kathy Hendrix, Michelle Day, Dana Light (Lee) and Steven Durbin (Sue); and his brother Bert Watkins. He is also survived by numerous Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
