He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edmund Bond and Mary Louise Collins Bond. He is survived by: his daughter Cherish Ruff (Joshua Ruff); his grandchildren, Bradley Ruff and Katie Ruff; his friend Teresa Bond; his sister Carolyn Bond; Logan Bond (Cheyenne Bond), Octavia Bond and Xavier Bond.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morris-Baker Dogwood Chapel (2001 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
