He is survived by: his wife Shawn Lisa Curtis Hoilman; his children, Malina Lynn Denny (Lance), Kenneth "Gene" Hoilman and Justin Chase Hoilman; his sisters, Christine Hoilman, Ellen Hoilman and Pam Hoilman; and his grandchildren, Sheridan Bailey (Noah), Holden Denny, Kylan Hoilman, Adam Hoilman and Frankie Hoilman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Home (800 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
