With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Jones of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on July 11, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Jones and Elizabeth Jones; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Lyle Jones; his daughters, Lori Callahan (Josh) and Julie Wilson; his stepson William Honeycutt (Melissa); his grandchildren, Ethan Smith, Olivia Smith, Brycen Callahan, Alex Honeycutt, Ashlyn Honeycutt and Mia Martinez; his siblings, Harold (Katherine) and Nancy Lowe; and his sister-in-law Suzanne Lawson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church or your favorite charity. Jerry donated his body to the Anatomical Gift Program at the Quillen College of Medicine.
