She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Paul and Ethel Maye Green; and her brother Claude Green. She is survived by: her siblings, Dean Green of Gaffney, Diane Nesbitt of Wingate and Carolyn Taylor of Kannapolis; her sons, Shon Nixon of Indian Land and Randy Nixon of Newland; her grandchildren, Sarah Sturdivant, Joshua Nixon, Faith Ward, Randy Nixon Jr. and Matthew Nixon; and her great grandchildren, Bentley Sturdivant, Anniston Sturdivant and William Ward. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Stroke Foundation.
