She was predeceased by: her mother Nellie Lober; her stepson Randy Tolson; her sister Evelyn Velovitch; and her nephew Bob Velovitch. She is survived by: her husband David Tolson; her children, Shannon Castillo (Jose) and Andrew Tolson (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Courtney Tolson (Viet Nguyen), Sophia Castillo and Olivia Castillo; her great grandchild Luna Nguyen; her sibling's children, Joe Velovitch and Deb Velovitch; her adoptive daughters, Carrie Fleenor, Tammy Otterstrom and Sis McAdams; her close friend Ann Kriser; and her friends, Terry Snyder and Pat Heath. She is also survived by numerous other friends, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Boones Creek Christian Church (2684 Boones Creek Rd, Johnson City, TN 37615). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
