With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen M. Franks in Johnson City, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Davis and Mary Strait Davis; her husband Jack Franks; and her son Edward Bruce Woodard. She is survived by: her daughters, JoAnne Morris and Jane Marie Knox (Denise Chesler) of Asheville, NC; her grandchildren, Jeffrey S. Morris (Jessica Tingwald), Steven J. Morris (Nobuko) and Elizabeth Gray (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Gavin Kruger (Cassidy) of Los Alamitos, CA, Christina Morris of Los Alamitos, CA, Alisha Morris of Los Alamitos, CA and Sabine Morris. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist (201 E Main St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
