She was predeceased by: her husband Henry D. "Bill" Whitlock; her parents, Samuel Lewis and Rose Ellen Large Trusler; her children, Anthony Lynn, Billy Ray Whitlock and Ruth Ann Guy; her sons-in-law, Ray Allen Guy, Fornie Danner and William Worley; her grandson Jonathan Guy; and her siblings, Pauline Mills, Margaret Hite, Mary Bell Cottle, Georgia Estep, Louise Woodside, Carl, Robert, Lawrence and Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Worley, Mary Ruth Danner, Jeanette Hardin (Clark), John Whitlock (Teresa) and Timothy Whitlock (Erica); her grandchildren, Sara Brown, Steven Chadwick (Michelle), Charles Danner (Andrea), Mark Hading, Cyrstal Smith (Richard), Samuel Guy (Allie) and Rebecca Whitlock (Ben); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ella Brown, Gracie Chedwick, Seth, Kendra Harding, Carter, Ellie, Oliver, Chloe Gladden, Alex Hatley, Zoey Smith, Flora Smith and Hayleigh Guy; and her siblings, Shelby Harriott (John) and Glen Trusler (Connie) of Burgaw, NC..
