He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard C. Freeman and Mae Clyburn Freeman; his siblings, Clifford Freeman and Sharon Greer; his daughter Cathy Stines; and his grandson Charles Presnell, Jr. (Jerry).
He is survived by: his wife Kay Dykes Freeman; his sister Elaine Nichols (Michael); and his children, Terry Freeman (Debbie) and Sherri Webster (Danny).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Unity Fellowship Church (901 Cedar Ave, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
