With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim McGurk of Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on July 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jeri; his children, Tim (Susan VanFleet), Suzanne (Dave Azbill), Matt, Amy and Beth (Mike Dugan); and his grandchildren, Drew McGurk (Hannah), Patrick McGurk, Matthew Gray, Charlie Dugan and Evelyn Dugan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (72 Shepherd Way, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of Jim's lifelong commitment to helping others, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, a cause close to his heart.
