With sadness, we share the passing of Jimmy R. Broce of Johnson City, Tennessee. Jimmy, born on June 26, 1932, passed away on July 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ray and Callie Phillips Broce; his wife Katie Wheeler Broce; his son James "Bo" Broce; and his siblings, Armon Broce, Berta Lynn Garruto, Helen Gaston, Wanda Glovier, Eleanor Mays and Joseph "Joe" Broce.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Beverly (Rodney) and Pamela Harris (Doug Henry); his grandchildren, Michele Meade, Benjamin "Jamie" Meade (April), Maranda Dean (Jeff) and James Broce; his great grandchildren, Hunter Dean, Peyton Meade, Koby Dean, Kaleb Dean, Levi Meade, Nealand Meade and Asher Bright; his great great grandchildren, Adalynn Dean and Theodore "Teddy" Dean; his sister Carolyn Broce-Baldwin; and his close friends, Meredith Corvin, Valerie Morrell, Benjamin Meade (Gerri) and Ken Lytton. He is also survived by several other relatives, nieces, and nephews.
