It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Allen Elsasser of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Frank and Edna Elsasser (Berge). He is survived by: his sister Rosemary Haraldsson; his daughter Gailind Elsasser (Susan Aycock); and his granddaughters, Madison and Jordan McIntosh.
