He was predeceased by: his father Carl Lee; his sisters, Patricia Ann (Bill Hunt) and Karla Jo Chappo; and his brother-in-law Bud Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Susan Frillman Burnett; his children, Robin Burnett of Rome, Georgia and Carl Burnett of Johnson City, Tennessee; his grandson Skyler Burnett of Johnson City, Tennessee; his sister Betty Murphy; and his pet Miss Nina Burnett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
