He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne "Red" Boone and Beatrice Boone of Boones Creek. He is survived by: his son Robert "Rob" D. Boone; and his siblings, Bill Boone (Judy), Jim Boone (Janice) and Phoebe Yates (Johnny). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home Oak Hall (2001 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
